Recommended Graphics Card

I decided it's time to kick up my computer a notch and cant settle on one graphics card. I'm looking in the $60-$70 range but I'm being pulled between 3 cards. I went through a few sites and got my list down to these 3. They are: - Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 4670 - ATi Radeon HD 5570 - ATi Radeon HD 4850 I know there are a few tech junkies roaming around basil, so I wanted suggestions from people with more experience since I'm still fairly new to upgrading stuff. So, what would you recommend?

by the look of it, I had trouble finding info on the 4850, but I'd say that'd be your best bet in that price range, its almost as good as the Nvidia 9800GTX, and even overpowers it in a few games(one being rainbow 6, another being oblivion) and the 9800GTX is also roughly $60-$70 more

Almost as good as the 9800gtx? Hell, its WAY better then the 9800gtx. The 9800gtx is pretty old already. The 4850 over powers the 9800gtx EASILY in any game. The 4850 is pretty much almost exactly the same as the 5770. I reccomend you get the 5770 as its the best graphics card for its price.

[/quote] You're mixing up the 4870 and the 4850. The 4850 is approximately equal to the 9800 GTX, the 4870 completely overpowers them. That being said, OP should get a 4850 because DX11 on weak cards is completely pointless. DX10 is good enough for now anyways.

The HD 4850 is easily the most powerful out of those three. The HD 5570 on the other hand offers DX11, but is greatly weaker than the HD 4850. There are better graphics cards you can get at that price point. such as the HD 5770 mentioned above.

Hmmm. Alright, so its basically between the 4850 and the 5770 then. Based on your guys' suggestions I'll probably end up with the 5770. If anyone has anymore tips and stuff throw em out there! This helps a lot. Thanks so far :D Edit: The 4850 seems to be a whole $50 less than the 5770. I'm seeing 4850's for around 100 and 5770s for 150. Is that the best deal I'm gonna get for them? Unless someone has a site where they're being sold for less, I'll most likely go for the 4850 since someone said its nearly the same anyways.
