What's so scary about Paranormal Activity?

:l Everyone says it's scary. I watched it last night, and the only scary part was the part with the Ouiji board. ._. I saw the ending with Micah getting killed, then the police come and then they shoot her and yeah. What's so scary about Paranormal Activity?

i thought the ending where the chick throws micah at the camera and then supposedly disappears was pretty ""sketchy""" but it wasn't as scary as people said it would be

Yeah, it was not scary at all. Like most horror films, I jumped here and there, but that's it. I was expecting much more actual "horror" then what it was.

The movie isnt good unless you saw it in theaters. A full theater is awesome. Even the slightest thing made everyone scream. There was just a scary feeling in the air.

Absolutely nothing. I saw it in theaters and by the end, everyone was laughing. It was only jumpy because stuff popped up a couple times. The second one looks better, though.

IMO, it wasnt scary. But for some reason, I couldnt sleep. It wasnt even that scary! I moment it was 10:01 PM, after i woke up, it was 10:07 PM. Wtf

Saw it at the cinema, while I was tense for most of the movie I did find it a rather average viewing experience. Still nothing beats [Rec] in terms of jump out of your seat scary movies.
