Anyways ive finally saved enough money working to buy myself a ps3 on craiglist. When i did, i havent noticed till when i got home that 1 cable was missing -.- so the next day i bought one new for 10 bucks and then i hook it up and it works. At first i didnt want to try out the game my friend lend me and instead was watching a movie that was downloaded into it already (kickass) lol. then after it was done, i decide to try out the game and the ps3 doesnt read it at all, so i turn it off and try to restart it but then the greenlight is turned on but nothing appears on my tv screen. At this point i knew i just got ripped off... Afterwords i tried to call back the seller to let him know about this and like he didnt answer his phone so i left him 2 messages to call me back, idk if he did see them yet but im quite angry and wish for my money back. EDIT: on the craiglist describtion it saids everything works perfectly (bs) -.- and wow the seller was a freakn short indian migget that had a really low voice. lol it worked when i first turned it on then i tried to put the game in and like it didnt read the game so i turned it off and then tried to turn it on again but then the power light was green yet nothing on the screen, So how can i report this guy? i still got his number on my call logs on my cell. Anyways basil what can i do to get my money back or report this "scammer"(?) to someone? Has this ever happen to you?

broken/dusty blu ray reader. you could try to take it apart if you want, and replace it for around 50 bucks, or pay Sony's service 150 bucks to repair it, since your ps3 is probably out of warranty

My bro got a ps3 and it stopped reading games and he told sony about it and basically they said that they can't replace it but he can put his own blue ray reader to watch movies but it won't read games as the blue ray readers sony makes are locked with a special serial or something so if dvd's read then you probably have the same thing as my bro
