iTunes verification e-mail? - BasilMarket Forum

This has been my first time posting in the tech section so please bare with me if I forget to include any details. I recently bought an iPod touch, and I want to get some apps for it. I registered for an iTunes account and they said they would send me a verification e-mail. It's been over 2 days since I did this and still no e-mail. And yes, I made sure I typed in the right e-mail address. Is Apple just busy or did I do anything wrong?

It sometimes takes a while for an e-mail server to send out a verification like this but 2 days is really pushing it. I think I would go back there and see if you can have them send out another e-mail verifictation, or double check in your e-mail account to be sure the e-mail from them hasn't been trapped in some kind of "spam trap" or Junk e-mail folder there. Sometime you have to "whitelist" or approve an e-mail address with your ISP and e-mail account to be sure mail from them gets through ok. Especially is it's from a commercial source like Apple, that might end up looking like spam to a "filter".
