Gaming Desktop Anyone?

| Anyone want to recommend me a gaming desktop? No Alienware. Im debating weather or not to get a gaming labtop or gaming desktop. If anyone can pick one out for me it would be great. Im gonna be doing hardcore gaming (Modern Warfare 2, Just Cause 2, Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead, etc etc) And of course its gonna be my desktop. I only have a labtop which acts as my desktop so im hoping to get a great gaming desktop but also has a multimedia desktop (Youtube, Web browsing, Movie Watching) Or if anyone has the time too it would be great if they can pick out parts for me to build on my own on newegg. Budget: $1500 <--- The Highest im willing to go. Rather pay less but if i must to have a good one, i will pay high. |

| Stories about IBP and CBPC using refurbished parts, shipping off incomplete/defective computers, bad customer service, etc. cause me to not consider them as an option. I don't trust other people to do watercooling on my soon-to-be computer either. And I dislike cases with doors. Also, the Gateway will run games better than it. |

[/quote] It is all over their tech support forums, lots of dissatisfied customers, lost of shipping problems, DOA parts, 4 hours put on hold on the telephone, emails not being responded, bad reviews being deleted etc. Most people rate Cyberpower/IBP a 5/5 based on price or on first impressions. Those who are unfortunate enough to have their comp break within a year then realize that they should've gave a review after some time period of ownership for op: I know you made a thread about this same topic (remember the Hardcore gaming thing and saying labtop = laptop) and will say the same answer again: build your own. |

[/quote] As Pen14 stated it is actually quite prominent. IBP is also very known for their QC issues while CBPC has crap in general, as well as fabricated reviews. One of my best friend bought a computer from CBPC several years ago and now regrets not consulting me. |
