Any way to delete friends?

Well in the newest update it makes it so that you can only delete friends when they are online. I'm sure many of you know this already but I tried searching around if there's any way possible to delete someone. I need to add somebody to keep in touch easier and my buddylist is full and I obviously don't want to delete my active online buddy list. Anyone find a way to get around this? Thanks~

Yeah, Im hating this too. I havent played in a couple months, i come back and i can't delete everyone else that stopped playing that character. I have literally one person that comes online, and thats who i talk to.
