So, I just started MS again about 2 or 3 weeks ago after a pretty long break and I'm just starting to get the hang of things until I see this post. Last time I played, sins were the overpowered class that would come into your voodoo/hoodoo channel and KS you unitl you realize that it's impossible to out-KS a sin and leave. (mind you, that was before pirate class came out) That was when Tiger was number one on the charts, and everyone did LPQ. Now there's leeching, belts, medals, rings, face accessories, maker skill, Cygnus knights, Evans, Arans, Pirates, UNICORNS, and the list goes on. Not saying these updates are bad. Just that things were so SIMPLE back then. Ah, well, just visiting old memories. x)

[/quote] I felt the same way after returning from an approximately year long absence from this game a few years ago. The changes that I encountered back then when I returned weren't as big as what you're experiencing now, though.

But its still fun :D [/quote] MapleStory has become fairly dumbed down to accommodate the mind of a 10 year old play, which is near the average age that MapleStory targets even though the ToS says you must be 13. Although, I enjoy when older players play, because a lot of people I meet on maple are very immature. I don't really see what's so complex about it, unless you're talking exp formulas, and all that stuff. I haven't really bothered to learn anything about it, but I think its kinda complicated. Nothing that you NEED to know is really all the hard to understand though. I think maple is more fun than the old days, not all the patchs were good, but in a generalization, from my opinionated answer, I say it's more fun.

[/quote] i remember being in the teen levels and thinking it was impossible to get to level 21 to do the KPQ, and then when i got there i couldnt even do it because i was too weak (thief)

I wish I had my old SSs... I hate myself for that T.T The game is evolving and some updates are good, some are awful. I just hate how Nexon is so greedy and so lazy on some stuff. Other than that, I also hate how job advancing and leveling isn't much of an achievement now. I still like MS, though. It's just that some things are just horrible right now (community, everyone thinking they're superior, etc...). I like to do quests and not take the game so seriously so I don't grow tired of it.

[/quote] Me too, i still remember when everything came out though. All those little things like the first time we got those Omok and Card games and everyone played them like crazy in the Henesys game park. If you ask most people it these days i bet they would think you are messing with them. Holycross , those were the days man.
