MoN's are the best option for non Mage classes and are also cheaper.

You're on Basil you can look up the stats, but depending on your job depends on what you should get. From what I understand about both, MoN is a much better decision for most jobs. An Item like HTP is better for ALL Mage classes and Arans.

HTP is better for mages, arans, and shadowers while mon is better for everything else

MoN Beginner, Bow Master, Marksman, Buccaneer, Corsair, Night Lord, Shadower, Hero, Paladin, Dark Knight HTP Priest, Fire/Poison Mage, Ice/Lightning Mage, Evan, Blaze Wizard Better with a MoN but are unable to get them so they have to have a HTP Aran, Dawn Warrior, Night Walker, Thunder Breaker, Wind Archer Currently unknown if they can go to CWKPQ to get a MoN Dual Blade

Scania wise a MoN is 35m while a HTP is 500-600m.

Or would they still be better with a MoN?

If it's a str shad, then HTP all the way. If not then yes, they should get a MoN.

[/quote] The difference between a MoN and HTP for a shad is 50 stat points and 10 atk.Once shads can wear a HTP I'm pretty sure their stats are already high enough so 10 atk>50 stat points. Overall an HTP is better for every class except mages.
