Reduced pay to Cali. Workers

This is my second thread about this because no one responded to the first one and I need your honest responses for a paper i'm writing for my college essay. Since the legislation is unable to create a stable budge for our State, the Governor has ordered that 240k/300k state workers be paid minimum wage until a budge is finally passed. I'm guessing they don't realize what is going to happen to all those State workers......This new legislation has already passed a smaller state court but still needs to be passed by a federal one. Discuss your opinions on this.

I never understood why they don't just pay people to run on treadmills to generate electricity. Creates more jobs and solves energy problems, AND helps reduce American obesity.

Lots of people will be going broke, be late on certain payments, be unable to buy certain necessities, etc. The actual people of California are getting screwed and all those politicians (Governor, senator, etc..) don't get a pay cut...
