What bug just bit me?

A day ago I got bit by a checkered bug with black and yellow antennas. The antennas were also really long. It bit me twice and it swelled really big. The redness spread about 3 inches on both sides. Has anyone heard of these bugs? A mosquito bite has never swelled this big. ;[ I'm on vacation in the usa.

Checkered bugs dont exist. You should be perfectly fine.

I'm thinking of waiting a few more days till I go back to Canada. No free health care? Pshaw. above It look checkered/stripedish. ;[ I just hope the swell goes down. I just watch a 2 hour parasite marathon a few days ago and it freaked me out.

first you want to rub the infected area with antibiotics afterwards, put some ice on it to reduce/lessen the swelling and then see a doctor(even if the swelling seems to go down)
