Wait, will the important skills for Dual Blade be REQUIRED? on nexon's (maplestory) faceboook q&a : Q: Will skill books be needed for Dual Blade? A: Certain Dual Blade Mastery Books will be available in the Cash Shop but it is not required make or level up a Dual Blade character. If you are interested in purchasing the Mastery Books, you can check out our earn nx to pay for the books. so, you need nx for important skills just like evan or no?

Pretty much. NX should not be giving people the upper hand. I'm sure Korea nexon said this. (and whatever kNexon says, every other nexon has to follow pretty much)

above No they don't. LOL. GMS can do whatever they want, they even made dual blades permanent.

Unlike Evan, who die without MG, Db's have no skill like that... and unless GMS changes it, their booster and critical is free also. It is possible to lvl a DB without NX, unlike Evan, but it would be significantly more difficult, especially from 30 - 120, as 4/6 job advances has an NX mastery book, except for the lvl 20 one and the 120 one. (unless GMS changes it, which they might)

Yes that will most likely be the case, like with Evans. They all "claim" that you don't need the skills, but it's pretty obvious that your a failure character without them. Can you imagine a mage without magic guard? What I really want to know is what kind of skills will require mastery books. Critical and booster?

Unless GMS changes it, these are the skills that require a mastery book. Slash Storm (your first 6 mob attack @ 30) Tornado Spin (your push back move @ 55) Mirror Image (your shadow partner @ 70) Flying Assaulter (your powerfull, stunning, flying 8 mob attack @ 70)

Wait how do you even know the mastery books are coming Gms like I know it happened in Kms but how do you know for sure?

it SEEMS like its not required however a lot of the skills that need Mastery Books have another skills that need those NX-required skills to be maxed in order to use
