According to Nexon's latest facebook update Dual Bladers will be permanent =) They also answered a few questions, everyone's probably wondering about. Q: What is Dual Blade? A: Dual Blade is a sub-class of the Thief job but very much separated as well. Dual Blade can wield two weapons! Q: Is the Dual Blade class only available for a limited time? A: No, Maplers will be able to make Dual Blade characters forever! Q: Will skill books be needed for Dual Blade? A: Certain Dual Blade Mastery Books will be available in the Cash Shop but it is not required make or level up a Dual Blade character. If you are interested in purchasing the Mastery Books, you can check out our earn NX to pay for the books. Q: Will players be given an extra character slot to make a Dual Blade? I want to know what skill books, might be the only reason i want to get nx again and stupid nexon, i mean GREEDY NEXON....they just ruin a good job by tell us it costs us to be stronger in a game..... just like that magic guard with evan's......that sucked......magic guard was useless and costed us exp.....it was essential, BUT NO...... they had to make us pay >.> They gonna take something vital from the bladers and make us pay for it....i bet you

It's always confused me why it was time-limited in kms. I was like wtf? Why spend countless hours and money developing a new class just to make it last only a month? How could you expect to make profit on something you work on making for a year if it's only "sold" for less than 30 days? Nice to see nexon america has a little more sense. That's if they're not lying. Above: You don't need nx to get mastery books for evans, just like you don't need it for db's. You can buy them if you want them to succeed at 100% rate, but it's not really necessary.

So lets say I have 3 characters in my 4 slots. Will I get an extra slot? And lets say I have 1 character out of 4 slots. Will i get an extra slot?

I think its six slots max. Since DBs are now permanent, this would also further justify having 100% blade scrolls in the scroll shops which would make my life a bit easier :P
