Question about rings

Ok... I know that there already was a huge post on this but I just never got to ask this question: for a white knight what would be the best ring for me if I never got lilies ring?

I think most of us have chosen the cruel ring. I just got mine today and it's pretty awesome. The criticals fire off a lot more frequently than I expected, and I've actually 1hko'ed a few Wyverns already. The 1hko hit 53k O_O.

[/quote] the one hit KO basically just displays the monsters HP while it's at full health example. wyverns have 53k hp @ max lol

I still say the Crit ring because it is time- efficient Not only do you get crit but it plays a much larger role when you are in a bossing run compared to Cruel Yes cruel has the special 1 atk but it still won't make the difference to get alot more damage output in bossing

Wow guys Ty a lot. I rly appreciate it and I'm already lvl 40 with the sin I made so I can get the ring at lvl 50 cuz I can't lvl up my 68 page 30 times in the time given for the event. I rly appreciate it Ty alot. I think I'm going with the cruel ring because I don't think I'm gonna be boss running a lot cuz once I hit 70 I'm going to wr's till like lvl 78 or 80 haven't decided yet but yea. Thanks, g5non

Comes down to weather or not the damage multiplies or stacks with SE. If it stacks, Cruel>Critical because of the 1atk and same dpm. If it multiplies the damage, then you get a few % increase in damage from the critical which would make up for the loss of 1 atk. I have seen no proof as to weather it stacks or multiplies with SE yet.

SE gives you a 15% chance to deal 140% extra damage (240% of your normal attack). Critical Ring w/ SE: 25% chance to deal 250% damage. 25% * 250% = 0.625 (62.5% damage increase). Cruel Ring w/ SE: 20% chance to deal 260% damage. 20% * 260% = 0.52 (52% damage increase). Keep in mind, no, that one extra attack will absolutely not make up that 10% difference. I have no idea where you get your mathz.

I have a question along these lines too. People say lillin's ring is better than cruel ring? Why is that? +3 all stats > 150 more hp, 70 more mp, 5% chance to do 20% more dmg and 1% 1hko chance? I want to know because I know crit is better than cruel, but when training alone, what is better, crit, or lillin's3? And also, after Big Bang, given with all the crit chance everyone seems to have at some degree with all classes, and then blasts crit chance, hands down, crit is best. And its not too late, just get to 50 I think, as long as you have all the quests accepted! [the level 40 one must have been done, then the 50 one for ring]

I think I'll be going with critical because the 1atk is minimal in training, and then I'll have better bossing Plus, if blast hits 3 times I think critical will be better.

That's added onto our skills which have nearly the highest percents in the game, 580% (blast) and 350% (acb). So you go from 580%, to... 581%. Hardly significant. If you had 580 str and went to 581 str, it would be the same thing. There's also damage stability... when the critical fails (95% of the time) you have a lower range. Lilin's ring is always giving you that str/dex boost to your damage range. The 1% chance to 1hko might be a little more useful. Anyone know if it works with HH?
