is it a monster drop? or random npc's throughout maple world? o.o

No, Seal Boxes drop from monsters, opening the boxes has a chance to give you feathers.

monsters drops sealed boxes and inside those you have a chance to get the feathers.

What feather? stiff feather? soft feather? typhon feather? golden feather? Stiff and soft feathers are a communal drop... meaning there are a few monsters that drop them. Typhon feathers are dropped by well.. typhons...and the golden feather is a quest item... I think there might be a blaze feather or something that is for a quest. EDIT: forget me... must be some new even i'm not aware of.. lol

Well, If you have the quest the monsters will drop you a "sealed box" when you open it they'll give you ores,pots or the feathers

They don't give blades, but they give blade scrolls. Just got a blade 100%
