My grandmama was having a garage sale, and she gave me 2 of these babies. It's pretty old because on the box that came with it it said manufactured in 1919. :D It has a pair of mini scissors, nail filer, and the blade in the picture. So....Any suggestions on what I should do with it? If it's a swiss army knife you can't really call it a blade... you can use it for opening letters I guess.

It looks like one of those fake ones you give to kids. If you're interested in knives, I'm glad to help. I've taken a lot of time to educate myself about them.

its a survival TOOL, not a knife. Yes it has knives on it, but its something to be used as a multipurpose tool. You want a nice "blade" get a switchblade or a fold able hunting knife. I suggest coldsteel.com

If you want a "survival knife" go with Ka-bar or CRKT. Ka-bar is cheaper. If you're really, extremely cheap and want a multipurpose fixed blade, go with a Frost Mora. They're like 20$.
