Did a member of Paper just attempt to scam me?

IGN: LimeTheSlime Guild: Paper Long story short: She was telling me that Paper was doing a massive event and was giving money to poor people. She asked me how much money I have, I said 3.9m after making my new wand (I'm broke). She showed me a 70% Shield Str and said it was worth 20m but would give it to me for my 3.9 because of this 'event ' paper was doing. I immediately 'smelled' a scam. Not knowing prices at all, I checked with a few friends and they said it was less than 2m probably. In the end i declined and told her the scroll was worth nothing. Was this a scam? She said she was following the orders of the guild leader who was apparently giving away money to poor people in this 'Paper event'. And no, I don't have an SS. You'll have to trust me. But I'm serious.

Yeah that scroll isn't worth anywhere near 20m. Selling scrolls is not giving away money, anyway.

Sounds like a scam. Doesn't automaticly have to mean the entire guild is involved in it though. Might just be part of her blablabla.
