Getting v87 To work.

This is for the people that has TROUBLES installing Not for the people that got it to work in the first go. A lot of people are having troubles updating. I finally got it to work with MANY tries with DIFFERENT methods that were mentioned. The ultimate way I got it to work was by reinstalling maplestory with a different version, in my case v83. Then I went to the website using firefox, logged in, pressed start game, and the start the patching by pressing start game. And it ended quite nicely and it works great, three of my friends with the same problem solved our problem by using this method. This is for the people that couldn`t get their patch to work after trying the methods of reinstalling the v86 -> v87 and had no success. Or the people that tried using the manual patcher but got stuck at base.wz Or the people that did compatibility tweaking and DEP fiddling with no success. && etc etc. ^ l This is for the people with 0 reading comprehension that couldn`t figure out why I`m used/posted this method ]

Why would you download v83 and patch that when you can download v87 right away?

with v86, download the v87 manual patcher into your maplestory folder. Don't touch it, go restart your computer. After you reboot your computer, open the patcher and it should work fine. (This is a solution for the stuck at maplestory.exe)

Heh... lol Glad yours works finally. The way I got mine to work was to uninstall and delete the Nexon folder from my computer, then install v.87 not from the patcher, but from the website. Made sure MapleStory was set to run as administrator, even for all users and unchecked "compatibility mode." After that it was smooth sailing. I'm guessing it has something to do with the registry was handled by v.87, if anything. I'm guessing deleting the nexon folder did something with it. I'm too sleepy to look into what the main cause of it is, but I've looked at all different solutions and nothing else worked for me. So, yeah I guess, just delete the Nexon folder and then install the v.87 and it should work properly. O_o

After i downloaded the maual patcher v87 i installed it & it was fine, didn't need to restart computer

It says it should update automatically for v85... Its not working for mine. IM TOO LAZY TO REDOWNLOAD MAPLE D:

? It should patch it from whatever your version you downloaded to v87, at least that was the case for us.
