How to fix 'stuck at applying: maplestory.exe'

I opened task manager and saw many maplestory.exe at one time. Go to task manager and end process on every maplestory.exe and the patcher as well. Then open maplestory from gamelauncher and it will automatically patch itself up. You need to manually patch as much as you can first before you can auto patch it from gamelauncher. After that it might give you an error saying but it passes that applying: maplestory.exe part. It says maplestory.exe already exists. I'm trying to figure out what to do to pass that part. At least you passed the stuck part. Edit: I am able to fully open ms and play. After you got that error saying that maplestory.exe already exists. Open task manager and kill every process of maplestory.exe and the patcher crap. Use a manual 0.87 patcher and then let it patch up. Then you are finished So First use your manual patcher to patch as much as you can. Use task manager to kill all the ms processes. Then open ms from the gamelauncher. Patch as much as you can open task manager kill all ms processes again. Then use the manual patcher again to patch it up. That's what I did and it works.

gamelauncher is in your maplestory folder.

I just manual patched it and it worked.

When I click on Game Launcher after using the task manager to close the manual patch nothing happens. Any other ideas?

Day-um, i love that you "kill" MS several times. Patch isn't working for me but i've already lost hope in that. Keep killing, and GL in making it work. =)

If anyone continues to have this problem after trying the above steps, simply re-download the game using the old-fashioned game download.
