Us wks and slingers used to be the rare classes, ya know? And now everybody wants to make one cuz of the balance patch... Is it wrong for me to be outraged about this? It just makes me mad cuz I gotta pay more to get my skillbooks... and there'll be more ppl to say to me "your dmg sucks".

ehh, i'm not sure about the case of pally's, but there sure has been an increase in slingers, mainly because of the removal of minimum range and higher damage, allowing slingers to cpq with max trojans/rombots scrolls and gun prices are going to rise now *cries*

Now you know how I feel..I was making a str dit wayyyy before khanjars came out. Now that they came out, everyone and their mom is dexless until 70, and str after that. I look like a bandwagoner -_-

Yes it is wrong for you to be outraged. Its a freakin free game. Nobody cares if your class is unpopular, it is how you interact with others to enhance your gameplay. IF you want to be unique, make a priest. Plus sairs are the strongest attacking class in the game so how is that unique? The game is evolving and the dexless sins are regrouping into teh neu dmge aweomsnezzzs claszz.

Its just a class fad. Like pirates, cks, Arans, Evans, etc etc. While slingers will increase possibly permanantly, do you think fadders will make a 3rd job class?

And let's just wait til the Maroon Mop comes out~ 220 att clean, beginner only. Won't it be fun to see 100,000 Lv 30 Beginners running around? My point is: There are noobs in every class. Don't focus on them and make your class your own. If you enjoy being a white knight or a crossbowman or a beginner or even a dexless night lord, then do it. As for your skillbooks: I have no idea what will happen to the price. I'm not actually seeing anymore pages than usual, especially over Level 50. Bandwagoners will die out soon enough, give it time.

You aren't cool just because your class is rare. Most of the paladins/corsairs I've met are idiots. I have both a paladin and corsair and they are so boring

The majority of these people making these classes are just using them to get the ring. Only a few will probably continue them and even less will get passed 3rd or even 4th job. I remade a gunslinger because they removed the minimum range (I quit my old one cause that got annoying). Also gunslingers were never really a "rare" class.

I went ahead and made a Spearman before the Balance Pach, even though they don't get anything tell 4th job i still find them fun. ( I have noticed them dieing out sence the BP though )
