1-Handed or 2-Handed = Blunt or Sword?

I really can't choose, sorry to bother but please help me out here I am making a paladin which one will suit me best.

Sword gives more 'stable' damage. BW gives better maximum damage than sword but also has lower minimum damage, because it's affected by the slash:stab ratio. BW's are also slower, with a few exceptions. One Handed gives less range than Two handed and can be combined with a nice attack shield. it's all up to you and your preferences really.

I chose blunted weapon and i dont regret a second of choosing it. Scrolls are cheap, high level weapons are cheap, they're very strong, but the stab dmg is pretty weak. and besides, we look cooler w/ bw XD

I choose sword just because I like what they look like better. Go check the how to choose your warrior weapon guide, that should help you.

Blunt Weapons not only have the slash/stab thing, they also have to deal with the speed.

Swords have higher dps according to the charts

It won't matter if the KMST patch gets here, because you can switch at any time. But basically, Swords are better in general because it is MUCH easier to get a better DPM w/ a Sword.
