A Question About Threaten

Do to effects of threaten apply on to you/your party, or does everyone get in on the -20% att/def? I was wondering because it seems like it would be easier to ks you if you used it... What i mean is, when you threaten a monster, is its def/att only lowered for you (to everyone else its still normal), or does it lower it for everyone?
