Lv30. Which type of Mage will bring me to 50?

Hi everyone, I am one of those old players who went inactive and found out about this Ring quest, which lead me to want to create a Mage class because back in the day they were the fastest levelers. Well, now I'm lv30 and I was originally going to choose Cleric to just Heal spam or I/L to mob. However, Fire Arrow is a mobbing skill and I heard there is a really good training spot in the Golden Temple for F/P Mages. Can anyone explain to me where this is, and if this makes F/P the ideal choice to get me to lv50? Additional Info: I have a Ring Mule (80% additional Party EXP buff), but I heard that the Golden Temple doesn't allow partying. Is that true? Thanks!

Lol I love how everyone assumes Jesters is better then White Mama Monkeys when it's not at all. Fire Arrow dominates far past Poison Breath, and White Mamas are far faster since you'll easily be 1 hitting them all by the time you're lv 36~37 If you tele cast Fire Arrows you'll be killing them at a speed that is far faster then Jesters. Fizard is the fastest leveler, White Mama Monkeys is your best exp/hr all the way to lv 70.

I guess the only way to tell would be %/hr statistics from both methods of training. Training at Mama Monkeys would take advantage of the powerful LUKless equips Cassandra provides during this event. However, Poisoning Jesters would take advantage of the +80% Ring Mule I have.

I just lvled my luckless fire mage from lv40 - lv50 today on 2x for 4hrs on Mama monkeys with fire arrow, it's really fast experience, cuz of ohko-ing it

If you'd rather not train, another alternative is going FA first and CPQing from 30-40, and doing Nett's from 40-50. Yes it's mindless and hopelessly boring, but at least you make a lot of mesos and you're sure to get to 50 in a non-ridiculous amount of time. But regardless of what you do, to answer the original question, F/P's are the fastest to 50.

[/quote] I wouldn't worry too much, nobody outside of Wizet really knows how it works either, lol. There was a team of people though named Thikket and Nekonecat that managed to get a fairly close approximation. They built a calculator that uses their formula, which you can try out here if you want. It seems to behave a little oddly when you visit the link, some browsers (specifically, my copy of Firefox) ask you to download it first, even though you'll just be opening it with your web browser anyway. It's just a web page though, the owner just forgot the L on the end is all.

I maxed fire arrow first and did cpq f2 with my friend using cpq mules. Got my ring after a day.
