Help with my Beginner

~This is my first post so please correct me if I did anything wrong~ In the Beginning, My Beginner added all AP into dex, then I noticed how much pots I was burning, and then scrolled all my Items with wdef, THEN after I hit level 20 I wanted to go 4str 1Hp. Because, I just got mad of my low HP. Basically the question I'm asking am I making a good choice of switching up my types all the time? Or should I just stick with one? Thanks in advance.

I recently put my dex from 50-70 and my damage is WAY more stable now. There is no point in struggling to hit monsters as a beginner, as you will be weak anyway.

man 80dex is a very comfy dex iv got 80base dex and i LIKE it dont worry about it just take things in stride and just cap dex whenevre u feel its worth stopping

The 20 STR difference between a 40 DEX cap and a 60 DEX cap isn't an outrageous difference but it is a very nice and subtle difference. As for the equips, the great thing about a 40 DEX cap is that all you need is a ZHelm. Seeing as most jobless characters end up getting a ZHelm around level 50-70 these days, it's not a big deal. After you have your ZHelm, you can scroll your other equips for whatever you wish, be it STR, DEF, HP, or DEX. I personally feel 40 is the best, however there's nothing wrong with 50 either. I find it a good cap as well. I just don't see the point in anything higher than that, unless you want to be a high DEX beginner.

Kyle, I seriously SERIOUSLY hope that that 140mil by level 50 is an exaggeration. Anyway: Fine. Stick with 40 base Dex if you want to. But I think that one day people that keep their dex that low will regret it. *points to Steph*

But I think that one day people that keep their dex that low will regret it. *points to Steph* [/quote] Nope, doing the GFA quests, LPQ from 35-40 then PYPQ to get the medal, then LPQ the rest if you didn't make 140mil then your not that lucky because I know some people who've made 500mil from doing that and 140 is the least I've heard. Trust me I've made a lot of characters to 50 and quit off the bat.

With the DEX and Accuracy that a Zakum Helmet has, there's no reason to add more DEX, because there's no real point in training in places that require more Accuracy. Maybe further along the road you might have to scroll your gloves with some DEX scrolls, if needed, but that's it. It really just depends how far down the road you plan on going with your character.

Getting 140m by level 50 would be a little difficult for the average player, but getting money for a ZHelm is easily obtainable by level 50. LPQ for broken glasses, do a few surveys (or outright buy nx) for scissors of karma and sell the glasses. If needed, sell a GFA from Subani's Legacy. Boom, 55m+ right there. So technically, you don't even need funds. As Alex also said, there's no point in super high dex/accuracy. If you can't hit the monsters, then it's obviously not an efficient source of exp.

DOES IT EVEN MATTER? For crying out loud, if someone gets high DEX, they can just substitute with STR equips. So where someone would use a DEX cape to meet accuracy requirements the high DEX can easily use a STR cape. Why are Beginners starting to sound like "statless or you fail?"

You're not seeing the point for our reasoning. We're just saying that 40 DEX is the least amount of a normal Beginner needs without funding to be an exceptional Beginner. Sure, going over is fine, but you can get by with what we're saying, at the cost of some saved AP (which can go into many other things as well, instead of STR, pending on who the person is and what they feel necessary to add.)
