CHINESE parent's racism

If you have Chinese parents, you have most likely experienced what I have experienced. My dad isn't very racist, since he works everyday with different type of people. But my mom in the other hand, is pretty racist. Even to other Chinese people. Different type of Chinese people (if you didn't know, there are different type of chinese people. Mandarin, Cantonese, FJ, etc). So I am planning to date this Cantonese girl... and I was wondering what her parent's would think of me. I am Tousan-ese (spelling?). Basically, I came to here to ask you what YOUR chinese parents think of tousanese people. How about Mandarin people? FJ? Cantonese?

My parents just think Tousan has messed up Cantonese and Mandarin don't know English. I am Cantonese/Hakka.

All Asian Parents are racist. Heck, Asian against Asian racism is just as bad as White against Black racism. OT, Expect the worse and assume that her parents will act and think like your mom does. But don't let that stop you. :] If the girl is cute, don't let her parents intimidate you.

My parents are Cantonese and they're kind of racist. My parents speak tousan, mandarin, etc... (basically most of the chinese languages).

Same parents, dad is neutral, mom is racist to... Africans. whenever she sees them... she says, "why are you looking at those bad people," roughly translated.
