So I am currently in the process of making an Evan. Lvl 21 so far and I am loving it. However, I have been reading quite a bit, and as with alot of other class, LUKless or low-LUK seems to be far more benificial. I dont have funding really (less than 1mil mesos) so I dont think I could afford the gear to make a low LUK or LUKless evan be more powerful than a regular LUK evan. So my questions are: 1. Is there really a big difference between LUK variations as far as DPS, bossing, or levelling speed? 2. How much funding is really necessary to create a low LUK/LUKless Evan more powerful than Reg LUK? 3. Why is LUKless better than reg. luck when I could just scroll higher level equips? 4. How much NX are the mastery books? I couldnt find them in the cash shop My F/P mage is 52 and he is Regular LUK. I have not seen any problems here but I'm not that far along with him yet. If it is really beneficial I would have no problem going LUKless with my Evan, but they sound expensive and without a good way to make decent money so far, I am at a crossroads. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Make him lukless! no doubt. you need no funding at all. do the NLC quest for nocturnal staff, and it can last till u can get lvl 64 one. nothing else is needed, and you will ALWAYS be stronger the regular. Low-luk is good too but its really pricy. hope that helps~

Lukless are stronger, you save more money on equips, you level faster, you have more mp... Reg luk: You get mage clothes... Lowluk:Bishops only.

Lol, why bishops only? And yeah, lukless is the way to go, but sometimes I wish I was regular luk XD. You have to admit those equips are pretty awesome

low luck out damages luckless for evans at later levels with good funding... get your facts straight good funding actually means if you can afford ewand 5 as a luckless, you can afford to be a low luck and do more damage, because estaff 5 is cheaper than ewand 5 - and the difference can be used to fund the 4 pieces of makered dragon armors - the only thing really required to push low luck over lukless

1. lukless/low luk have higher damage which affects dps and training speed 2. 0mesos 3. the extra int from lukless outdoes the int/magic attack bonus on higher level equips 4. 2k~2.5k

Go Lukless, Tho you will basically stay with your level 8 wand up to level 50 = (Without any fundings) I personally hate Evans, but thats just me, I hate all new jobs. You will be able to get more money on evan because you can do quests which give good scrolls. Lukless can be a bit pricey if you really want good equips, but face it, mage's equips don't affect SO much on dmg. (Not like Warriors, Bowmen, Brawlers.. ). So Lukless mages are always easy to do: You use the same clothes as beginners like forever, and thats it =] Enjoy~
