xpadder, speedlink and maple

so i finally got me a speedlink game padder (the hornet) and it works in xpadder, but when i try it on maple it wont work? i got all the buttons right. how can i make xpadder work with maple?

You really have to fiddle with it if it doesn't work initially. I know when I was playing Maple, I had to constantly switch between Xpadder and Maple before it started responding. So my advice to you is to simply keep trying. However, that's usually the way people do get banned for 3rd party software (from what I heard). I use it fine but still, be cautious.

i've tried this several times now but i doesnt work, any other ways? do i have to do something else than set the keys in xpadder? i have it all set up, but do i really need a picture of the controller i am using in the background? or is that just easier for setting it up? it also works fine in word and google (i have some letters set up on it) but it just doesnt work with maple. please help me
