| Because bosses/monsters that have magical/ranged attack need to get into certain range to use it and if you puppet behind you and knockback monster far away from puppet you can be sure that it won't use that ranged attack until puppet expires or breaks. |

| So the monster's M. ATT cannot reach you. If you can KB it, the monster will never attack you. Also, most of the times, the monster's M. ATT is higher than its W. ATT. Or perhaps this guy didn't go the strafe first build. If you did then you would have learned how to use it at squid parties. Then again, nowadays no one trains and all they do is leech =/ |

| Same with placing your puppet above or under the monster. The monster's attacking range is too small to reach the puppet, so it won't attack. But if you can knockback the monster, you can place it behind you and push it away from the puppet. |
