"Fun" level of the Bowmaster

Although I understand that "fun" is a super subjective term, I would like to ask the BM community how they feel about their BM's during training to just get an idea of whether I want to take my Ranger and further. I was told by some people that it gets boring after a while just hurricaning but I want to get the opinion of a broader group of people.

During training? Mostly boring after a while. But which class isnt? But Im having fun soloing bosses, we have quite a wide range of possible targets in the bossing area thanks to puppet and fast attacks.

Bowmasters are the slowest training 4th job, IIRC.

imo, bm's arent as fun when u train, but when u go on boss runs, u suddenly turn into a godly attacker. i'd say is fun when u have max se and a decent lvl hurricane ( 20) and at least 1 point in dragons breath. so around the late 13x are when your true colors shine

Newties are dull as hell so far, I'll admit that much. The extremely slim chance of Hurricane 20 and the prospect of 4th job keeps me there though.

I agree with yoyo. BM's are absolute hell when training and leveling during the 1st-3rd jobs. Once you get into the 4th job level range, you'll start to feel more empowered, and then the fun begins (i.e Bossing)

It was cool when I got new skills at lv120 and wanted to try them out. On the way to maxing each one of the main ones was pretty much boring yet once they were all at a good level I started enjoying bossing a lot more than training. The high mastery and the criticals with the boost of SE and the fast hurricane is really awesome ^^

Training wise we are quite boring. For early bms training is slow but im sure royal guard S plays a part for bms during higher level in that we do train faster if we were to hunt down royal guard S and kill it 15mil exp + half a dozen buffs = alot of exp. Yea i think bms are fun being able to kill alot of things and boss though im not quite up that level yet to say otherwise.

I know that late 13x-early 14x seem to be the make or break levels for most bowmasters I know. As a matter of fact I know of 8 that quit their BM at 135-147 on mardia alone bc of how boring it was for them o.o On the flip side there are many users that find it simply enthralling to be spamming hurricane nonstop. I guess it all depends on whether you are a good multitasker or even more importantly whether your ADD will prevent you from doing this.

Never been bored as a bowman class, maybe discouraged at times, but never bored. Though, gotta say ive stopped my leveling grind for the past two years (been 15x for 2 years) but im happily enjoying making new classes, powering up, making money, Then going back to the best class in maple with my funding, oh yes funding my bowmaster xD

When I left Newties to start training at Skeles, I had alot of fun, but I'm pretty sure I would've got bored after a while if I continued my BM... But which class isn't? I'm only lvl133 on my AM and Blizzing skeles is already repetitive and boring...

Being that you're main is a priest, I don't think it will be fun at all. We suck at training, I'm lvl 156 currently and leveling w/o a bishop is near impossible. I know people say bossing is great and it is but, w/ rarity of Anego, and only being able to zakum and pap 2 times a day... you will spend 80% of your time training or trying to find a boss. We aren't the best at funding and you won't be good until 15x IMO. And even then Snipe marksmen should be out damaging you; on mobs or single hit.

[/quote] yes, we're stronger. but you guys have a better kb ratio with hurricane. atleast you can keep bf pinned. btw why don't you lvl on royal guards on 4x. that's how i been lvling lately.

Bowmasters are insanely slow levelers if you mean Skeles and ToT. That's why I just boss for my exp. It's more fun too and good for your wallet.
