I don't even know what happened. By the way, I'm writing this on itouch. So I had this shopica hijack which I thought I killed with malwarebytes..but apparently not. My xp computer now has the energy blue theme missing and the wireless Internet can't connect. I'm thinking of bringing this into a computer shop to get it repaired or devirused but I don't know any and frankly I don't know what I can do myself. What do I do? By the way, I live in vancouver: if anyone knows any good laptop repair shops that'd be great. Os: windows xp, Sony vaio laptop

Hamburger89Okay, the first thing you have to do is get that pc virus free. To be honest, I think a malware bytes scan would be sufficient. But if it doesn't find anything, download avast! home edition. It's free, but you have to register. So download the installation (probally .rar file) file and install it on the broken machine. If this isn't possible than we have to reestablish the internet connection. I can help you with this but I'll need a screen shot of your ipconfig /all screen. To get this press the following keys: Windows + R Type: "cmd" press enter Type: "ipconfig /all" press enter Now take a screenshot of all the information that is displayed and post it itt.

Sadly malwarebytes isn't 100% effective. I tried it, it caught some stuff, and the computer still messes up. I'll get a screenie as soon as I get back on my laptop. I got the internet running again (me reversing a system restore seemed to fix the problem)
