My ex cheated on me after getting wasted at a friend's party. I was there too but I left before things got too rough. She seems to love to get people on her side, acting as if I was at wrong. Alright, so I was really mad at her and said everything that came into my mind yesterday. She's basically naive and tries to make excuses for wasting and destroying her own life (she doesn't sleep or well, drinks like holy hell and acts as though she shouldn't even bother trying to live past the next 3 years. She has deep issues with her dad who lives off in the Philippines and doesn't get along with the relatives who provide her solace and shelter, and moves from relative to relative like once per year). I didn't bother trying to get any of my friends to sympathize, I simply pretended nothing even happened and that we were never together. Now I feel like I've been played, and even though I wanna get myself to stay cool with her the drama she's bringing is just... wow... How come all of the sudden I'm the bad guy? Because I told her that I was a retard for falling for an idiot like her? She was the one who's implying that I'm a retard who should leave her alone when I asked her if she wanted to tell me anything. I didn't ask in a rude manner or anything. But the moment she called me a retard as if it was my fault was when I got pushed. This never would have happened if she just explained things to me HONESTLY before I found out from other sources. I would've at least tried to figure out the problem if she didn't completely shut me down after the event. She got wasted, some black dude came onto her(Not even like a like situation. Just plain stupid influence of alcohol) . Then, she decides to keep it from me. What, I'm the bad guy for getting mad at her and giving her a piece of my mind when she clearly messed up something else in her life? As if her life isn't already messed up, I was a guy who actually cared about her and was almost in LOVE with her. I'd like not to be arrogant, but honestly I think I'm more than just a simple slip up of hers. So what? I'm the bad guy?

[/quote] The other side of the story was that at the party I told her if you're not serious then tell me, I'd rather the relationship be completely real and not lose you as a friend. We were in my friend's bedroom (Nothing happened but kissing and cuddling, so horny lil kids get out) and she told me that she was serious about me. Then she gets wasted after I leave the party and hell is unleashed. On Monday she wanted to break up with me but couldn't get herself too. Monday evening I got a little too mad at her and I told her to break up with me(I want her to feel like she's in control of something during her life). Maybe she just feels guilty about cheating on me and doesn't wanna hurt me anymore, but if so why is it that she has to bring in all this drama to make me sound like the bad guy? Was I not good enough for her? No, I could do much better, and I'm not saying this based on my own pride. I'm saying it because it's true.

You're over complicating things man.... just forget about her. You don't need her as a girlfriend, and you don't need her as a friend either. If she wants to be your friend, that's fine. But don't try to.... well.... how should I word this.... your not the one who needs her as a friend that's basically all I'm saying. Don't make her your problem.
