Who has seen the movie/read the book? What did you think of it?

haven't read the book, though i've seen the movie. i wasn't a fan of the movie, though the children were such good actors! v. cute.

I have read the book and seen the movie and I really liked it and I think it touched me, maybe because I'm jewish but the acting is nice and the end is just sad.

It was pretty sad, considering that you saw the movie from the point of view of a German official's son. The movie really makes you realize how much it was even worse for the jews.

Stubborn children. The Jew boy played him, probably wanted revenge or something. Other than that, it was a good movie/book and sad at the end.

I studied The Boy in Striped Pajamas last year for year 9 English and i loved the book. It's one of the best books I've ever read for school. The movie however, in comparison with the book, I didn't enjoy as much. Maybe I knew the storyline and I was expecting things differently like the look of the house for example. To those who haven't read the book or haven't even heard of it, I strongly recommend you to read it.
