HP - Pavilion Laptop with AMD Turion� II Ultra Dual-Core Mobile Processor - Espresso Black or HP - Pavilion Laptop with Intel� Core� i3 Processor - Black Look on Best Buy for details. Which should I get?

Intel is generally a better processor company, so I'd probably go with that.

Intel Core i3, if they are the same price. If the AMD is cheaper just go with that.

Well, this one: http://www.shrunkin.com/40439/ There are other cheaper laptops with an i3 processor as well that goes down to the $550 range. Btw, what are you going to be doing on this computer?

I would recommend the AMD, but don't expect great results for gaming for this laptop.

Define gaming. MapleStory-like gaming or BFBC2 gaming? As all four of them is able to play MS (including the one I'm about to post) for sure but not the latter. And Toshiba is a pretty good brand too. Or you could go with this one as well. http://www.shrunkin.com/40441/
