As the title says i am making a pirate, but i cannot chose between a brawler or a gunslinger. Please post pros and cons of each pirate from your own experience, i watched a lot of vids, but still cannot decide! Please help!

I know little about slingers other than they're pretty tough to train, but at high levels they can deal crazy damage. Brawlers on the other hand are relatively powerful throughout their entire career. If you love blasting your way through mobs, AND annihilating foes in 1 on 1 fights(albeit less efficiently than a slinger) , then brawler path is probably for you. Plus during third job you get drain, saving you loads of pots!

Brawler - Melee Based - Invincibility Frames - Variety of Skills - Fun (IMO) - Not really a damage hoar kind of class - Can Mob easily - Might be a pot burn -Good Bossers Gunslingers- -High DPM in 4th job -Takes patience to train to 3rd job? - Somewhat Rare Class - Excellent Bossers idk what else idk much about them Please dont insult me if i get any of these wrong

I for one am already a gunslinger. They are incredibly annoying to train thru first and second job, but, even thugh i wouldn't know yet, you are rewarded nicely in the thrid job, you still train slowly, but in the 11x you start to see how your dmg compares nicely to other classes, ive heard it even starts in th 10x. My friend is a 13x bucc, it took him quite long to lvl there, but as things keep on getting added, people are lvling faster, if you want to have fun for a long time, go brawler. If you want to be strong in the end, go slinger. I voted for brawler, because the people who are already slingers, they like being a rare species, SO STAY AWAY. :3 naw im kidding, but i honestly do think you should be a brawler.

[/quote] Most of us corsairs are "funded" on some way cause we had another 4th job class before and quitted for this, that's why u'll see how some outlaws outdmg other classes on lv10X or 11X. If u're unfunded that wont happen xD

Pros for Gunslinger are they have a fast DPS, long ranged, and cheap scrolls (60%/30%). Cons for Gunslinger they are slow at lvling because of their low damage until 3rd job and you can't carry as mush pots as Brawlers because of bullets unless you buy more room. Pros for Brawlers they are fast leveling at low an high levels because of there high damage and cheap scrolls (60%/30%) but not as cheap as Gun scrolls. Cons for Brawlers are they do not have a Fast DPS. I myself think both classes are good.
