Did I just get hacked?

Holy crap, i have no idea what just happened. So I was surfing basil, and suddenly, this bar pops up at the top of my window. "Firefox has just prevented a pop up" or something like that. I ignored it, and 10 seconds later, I get a warning from my computer about some virus, and the details says its a Trojan? Soo what should I do? Any1 know how I can scan my computer?

I don't think the pop up has anything to do with the virus/ trojan. That notification you got, is it from a program you use? Or something you haven't seen before. But yeah, either way, you have a virus. Probably has nothing to do with Basil though. Wow I just realized it was Sean o_o
