How to get a Summer/part time job. (16 years old)

Hi, I am 16 years old looking for summer or part time job. I apply to macdonald and Tim horton few weeks ago. I did not get call yet. It difficult getting a job while in HS, but how did others get job durring HS? Any tips/ Suggestion? I live in Canada

I agree with KingTomy93 x100. Also, apply to as many places as you can then give it a little time & be persistent (call them back after a few days to find out the status of your application). Don't apply to for two jobs and hope to get one of those two.

If you're in Vancouver apply to PNE. Tons of high school kids work there in the summer. Otherwise just keep applying. I'm sure someone will grab you right up.
