Funding Your Friends?

So Basil, do you fund your friends? How much? Or is it more of a "you can borrow..." thing for you? I ask because today I bought the final pieces for my friend's Dexless NL setup. But not just any NL, he's rollin' with 25 base-DEX and 135 in equips. This means he can equip a Lampion. We'd been playing for years, and he usually sticks with Mages, but we were talking about statless characters and I brought up the subject of "perfect" dexless NLs. I said I'd be happy to fund one and he was willing to put in the training. I post this because I actually have an insane amount of satisfaction in completing something I will never really use. Sure, I'll play it once or twice, but it's definitely his character, and the equips are his. So Basil, how do you feel?

It's more of a borrow thing for me... because I'm too poor to be funding my friends when I have problems myself o_O

Yeah, I don't have enough money to fund my friends dexless lamp user and still have money for pots.

Sometimes I lend things to friends and other times I give things to friends. It depends on what the item is, who the friend is, and what's the occasion.

I'll give them what they need if they need it; of course, I'd have to be able to afford to give it away first and it can't be a ridiculous amount either. I do it more of a "here's a present for you" type of thing.

I personally think its all about how YOU feel about it. For me, doing something like that all depends on who I am funding, etc. I don't usually fund my friends tho, I just lend them stuff and money when they need. (Because I barely have the money to fund myself) But if he/she is a good friend of yours and you don't mind him having such a great chara then hey why not?

My friend and I have been helping eachother since LMPQ days back to back. We even make our characters to match up in a duo pretty well...Nothing wrong with what you're doing at all

To get my RL friends to play maple i had to fund them which isn't a big problem because hey they're my friends and if it means more fun on maple its a small price to pay.

I helped fund my friends from my school. One week later, one claims to have gotten hacked with my ywg and 22 int robe and int earrings. At school, he plays it off as nothing changed and still is a complete jerk to me. My other friend is currently "borrowing" my 10att wg and claims to wait till dualblades to come out, with no intention of getting my stuff back. During the period of when iblent them my equips, they constantly nagged me for more, even though what I let them use was godly compared to what they had in their world. F3 /end rant. :B

To be nice, yes and they're a good friend and I know them well enough but it's no more than 5mil or less

ehh... i give my friends stuff but i give more to my rl friends. and if it's funding then im sry but the account should be available to both people or both parties should have the same rights o__o. its 50/50?
