so you guys may have seen my other thread. and if not, heres the link http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/1523421/0/So_my_friend_is_having_a_baby.html# . anywho heres the update: she finally told they guy off and never to talk to her again. and the baby is due today. so like, whats going to happen with this? 18 year old mother and the kid will remain fatherless, all her friends use her and abuse her and such. i realise the point of this thread is pretty vague and somewhat nonexsistant, but i was wondering what i could do help raise this baby. i've quit smoking, drinking, foul language, and im considering going to church. like what is the best thing i can do in this situation?

Let her stay at your place so she wont have to pay for a house. Make her pay rent, but at a reasonably low price. Also why would you go to Church? Who is that helping? Going to a place every week for an hour is waste of time. Time that could be spent helping this girl.

What I personally would do in your situation. Be there for her, it's hard for a single mother at such a young age. Regularly visit her house. Even though you say you don't much much of a social life, make an effort with this 'special friend'. You will bond even more if you're there for her. And if she gets angry at you for no apparent reason don't retaliate, it's common for a new mother to experience emotional stress, so just be fine with it, and you be better friends than ever, or even more if that's what you want.

She is having fun with her fiancee now...Her ex bf was a true comedy...he was feeding her with McDonald everyday and instant noodle...You can't feed pregnant woman with that kind of food! So, I took her to get proper food and the baby now is 3 years old and healthy
