You're offered one million dollars, but you must cut off your hand, and burn it. You may spend half of it to have a surgeon put you to sleep, and cut it off. (but once you wake up, you'll feel the pain with no anesthetics) Or you may spend all of it to have a surgeon cut it off and give you anesthetics so you'll never have to feel the pain again. The doctor can't do anything for you, because once he helps you he ceases to exist in the space time continuum. The last option is quite useful if you think about it. You won't feel pain. So.... durrrrrrr

Wait... U said "u can spend all of it and have the surgeon make it so that ur hand won't hurt when it's cut" well if the whole reason for cutting ur hand was 1m why wud u cut it and have it not hurt if u were gunna spend the 1m for it not to hurt.
