can anyone help me with these problems? D:! 9. Find the slope of the line that has an equation of 4x � 2y = 6. 10. Find the slope of the line passing through the points (�2, 3) and (�5, 6). 11. Find the slope of a line which is perpendicular to the line that has an equation of 2x = 1/2 y + 4. 12. Find the slope of a line which is parallel to the line that has an equation of 1/3x + 2/3y = 2. can't seem to find a correct answer !

For number 2. do the first y, minus the second y. then the first x, minus the second x in fraction for. so like this. y1 - y2 ---------- x1 - x2 I'm in 8th grade and I know this ishhh

I wish my Algebra II was this easy. Edit: On topic though, there are easy formulas to find slope. I'm not going to do every problem for you but it's y1-y2/x1-x2 for slope. Not too difficult.

No offense but.. this is like.. 5th grade math. Anyways, convert the equations to the formula y = mx + b to find the slope. ( m is the slope) (#9,12) To find the slope use the formula.. m = (y1 - y2)/(x1-x2).. the numbers are subscripts (#10) Perpendicular is negative reciprocal of the original slope.

Instead of me just telling you the answers, here's how you do it. Slope intercept form. y=mx+b Where m=the slope, b= the y intercept Standard Form Ay=Bx=C Where A is always positive, and the gcf of the equation is 1. To find the y intercept, you can use slope-intercept form. y=mx+b Your b is your y intercept except (0,b) To find your x intercept, you can use the slope-intercept form again. y=mx+b Just plug in 0 for y, and solve for what you get for X. (X,0) Domain, is all the x values of the set of numbers Range, is all the y values of the set of numbers. To Determine if a set of numbers is a function, look at all your x values. If Any are the same, then look at your y values of whichever have the x values. If they are DIFFERENT, then it's not a function. (Are you sure this is Algebra 2? O.o)
