Does GMS work in Korea?

I am going to Korea for the summer and I want to know If I can play it there. I heard it will lag though, is this true? I made the account a few years ago, maybe 2-3? If it doesn't work, will I be able to play on a usb/flash drive? If I do, I just copy all the maplestory files onto it and click game launcher right?

Ahh, don't think so. My friend tried it there, says something about wrong ip or something. Maybe with a proxy. I also heard that if you log in from the site it works...

Really? I heard multiple people say it does work but I don't know. Also, what is a "proxy"? How do you do this?

Proxy is sort of like a bypass. You skip the ip ban and just go right to the game. Most of them are blocked in Maple though. I still don't know if it does work. Try it when you go to Korea.

I see... I heard something about Hotspot shield or something so I'll try that if it doesn't work. Will Maple on the USB work though?

which part of korrea r u goin to? @seteven:koreans easy to read.. Hotspotshield is blocked by nexon america it will not work. Proxifier works but i think it has a time limit unless u have a serial.

I downloaded gms in korea for about 5 minutes (or possibly less), then i played it right on the spot with no proxy or whatever. SIMPLE AS THAT! ^ Played in PC room while my cousin played his stupid fifa game lol. Seriously, whats so hard about it? o_o
