Sorry to rain on your (w/e, ifg the expression), but North Korea always does something to South Korea every couple years. This is only like the 50th incident between the two since 1953. I expect this to end with nothing really happening except the two sides making empty threats and then moving on.

Who's in the right/wrong if anyone here's been keeping up with what's going on between them? @Above: Yeah, but if you can think back a few months, North Korea has been working suspiciously with nuclear warfare right under the U.N.'s noses. I wouldn't be surprised if they set up a mini-atom bomb (obviously not large enough to effect their own country though, as it's so close in vicinity.) Kim Jong Il seems ruthless.

This will be exactly the same as the whole N. Korea nuke thing last year. International pressure will result in a whole lot of nothing. You guys have (as in Americans, seeing as I'm not) have tens of thousands of troops between S. Korea and Japan, they wouldn't dare do anything if S. Korea were foolish enough too. /thread

[/quote] Yea, I guess the whole thing about North Korea having enriched uranium this time makes it a touchier subject, but still, I doubt much will happen.
