Legends, are they slower?

I think I heard with 1h weapons they hit really slow, but not sure. anyone know for sure? thanks.

I didn't notice a difference using a Glowing Whip on mine to be honest Kyle.

No only when using polearms are they slower. In all other weapons, they attack with the same speed as a regular beginner.

I'm positive Steph will tell you different than the 2 above posters. But, I don't know for sure. Weapon speed isn't something I notice that much, and I never really played my legend for very long. But this is something I'd actually like to know.

It's only slower if you use polearms.

It used to be that only PA's were slow, but I think they may have changed it recently. I was playing around with a snow-lander for a bit the other day and I noticed the same delay with a Sword as I get with my Legend and a PA. I can test it again.. once my computer stops being a piece.

I didn't really check other weapons then Pole Arms.. But I think its the same. Anyways, you should make a PA legend, Their attacks are always the same and that gives a advantage of being able to stand somewhere and attack and the monsters above them will get hit and wont hit you. Besides, if they are in "Caution Falling Down", they will be able to attack with a Pole Arm and attack the monsters beneath them, while standing on those signs, because Octopuses are a high monsters, which Pole Arms can get to even if standing on a higher place. I wont consider it botting, but it makes your training easier and much less expensive.. and besides, when using a Pole arm, you will be able to mob, so i think you should use a Pole arm and not other weapons.

I frequent my Legend, I assure you, its only slower when you use polearms.

Actually, it does get slower no matter what weapon you're using if (and only if) you're hitting a reaction type object, like a box in LPQ for example.
