Hello dear Joblesses all over Maple World! Beginners, Noblesses, Legends and Evanginners are all wonderful classes. We get free fames, Taxi discount, can be very cheap, and also very unique. We have many Pros, but we have also a bit of Cons: Low damage, Many joblesses haters, and we have speed and jump issues. Yet, there are solutions to that problem, which I am going to show you today. 1st Update - 5.19 Added Option 4 - Only Speed, Option 5 - Only Jump and Option 6 - Level 1 Mule Why do we need speed and jump anyways? So how can I get so much speed and jump? How to get 140% Speed and 120% Jump from those equips? Thanks for Reading! Why do we need speed and jump anyways? As a beginner, Grinding can be tough and annoying sometimes. Without any jump and speed, jumping over monsters, running away from monsters and moving from one monster to another may be difficult. Improving Speed and Jump makes training faster. Besides, beginners love to jump when they attack. If the monster is short enough, you will be able to jump over it, and it will never hit you! That way you are saving money, training faster and enjoying your grinding. So how can I get so much speed and jump? Hasting your beginner can cost a lot. But if you plan what you are going to use, it can save you tons of money. These are the list of things you'll want to use: Hat You won't find much hats that give speed or jump. If you are planning to use a Zakum Helmet or a Scarlion Helm, so its too bad, you won't be able to boost your jump from hats. For those who don't plan to use a Zhelm or Scarlion helm all the time, there are a couple of boosting hats. Grey Bandana will boost your jump by 3, and the Pink Bandana will boost your speed by 3. The independent hat is also a option, it boosts 2 jump. You are also able to purchase at level 42 the Bone Helm, which adds 8 speed and 5 jump, which is pretty awesome. You can't scroll your Hat for speed or jump. Weapons which give speed Note that there aren't many weapons that give many speed and are strong. If you would like to train with full haste, those weapons aren't so recommended, but if you plan to haste only when hanging around and walking from place to place, those weapons are pretty much the best. Red flowery tube - Isn't so common lately. It gives 9-11 speed, and look pretty cool. You can use it at level 25. Red whip - Gives you about 14-16 speed. Prices went down lately, you will be able to buy the whip for 2-3m in Scania. You have to be level 35 to use it. Glowing whip - Gives the exact same speed but much more expensive. It has about 70 attack, so you fighting with it can be a option. You will get it at level 40. Those are pretty much the recommended ones. Fish spear, Fruity bamboo, White duck tube, Yellow duck tube, are all not very helpful. Fruity bamboo gives 9 speed but is deadly expensive. Fish spear, White duck tube and Yellow duck tube give 5 speed. Weapons that give Jump You won't find many of those. The only one that is helpful is th

Violet Snowshoes are usually cheap and come clean with 5 speed and 5 jump, however they are Lv 80. Good guide overall~ Personally, i like jump more than speed, simply because I notice it more when I lack it.

The only thing that I see wrong, or at least, I believe is wrong, is that the maximum speed is 140%, and the maximum jump is 123%. This is what I've thought for years. I'm pretty sure these used to be the maximum values, but maybe things have changed.

The super snowboard gives a huge amount of speed and is one of the best weapons for a beginner.

[/quote] Nevertheless, equipment like that should be mentioned in the guide just for those who can afford it. (Like me.) Plus, the Super Snowboard is way cheaper than, say a Flaming Katana (which also gives 17 speed, which is pretty good). This guide would be better if it could give more options. For example, those who don't have the money or don't want to scroll 14 jump pants (in other words, don't want to scroll anything). Also, equipment builds for those who just want speed, or those who just want jump only.

[/quote] Not at all! I wrote that in the options section. There is the Hanging around option which will be useless for Noblesse, Legends and maybe Evanginners, and there is the option of training, which will be useful since you can't really fight with a mount, so when you jump attack, jump and speed are useful. I use my mount for training on both my Noblesse and my Legend. I have noticed a need for jump in the Rotting Skeleton room though, so I'm looking to scroll a pair of jump pants.

[/quote] Of course, but I thought the purpose of the guide was to inform players who cannot afford mounts (or for the ones who aren't even able to, like Beginners) of the items that are capable of reaching the maximum values for both speed and jump respectively. @Beginnered: How is it possible to have more than the maximum amount of speed/jump unless you have a mount? Maybe you mean that your equips will still be scrolled for speed/jump, and it would be possible to un-equip a certain equipment that is scrolled for speed/jump, so your speed and jump values can remain at their high point. I tried wording that as best as I could without trying to make it confusing.

You left off that plenty of high-leveled maplers have ruined Purple Witch Belts (0 atk). This is where Newties were dropping the tokens by accident and plenty of people training on them had chances to make ATK belts. Well, some of these belts when chaosed ended up with more speed/jump than they originally gave. Many times these Maplers are easy to part with these attack-less belts if you offer to gift them an SoK for it.

[/quote] You are right, but at level 85, as shown in the guide, you will have max haste, so there's no need in it. You might use it if you have none of those other equips. I didn't include some of the items because they seemed to be hard to get and very expensive. I took the main items for this guide. Besides, since Choas scrolling is endless and you make with choas scrolls a 50 speed robe, I didn't include it. Also, there aren't many maplers who would like to choas everything they have because its very expensive and because you can manage to boost your speed and jump to max, without any Choas Scrolls.
