i found an iphone today

so today, i found an iphone on the subway. i already planned on returning it (i've returned lost wallets and phones before in my life multiple times) but it was out of batteries and the charger wasnt compatible with my ipod chargers so i used the usb as the charger. when i jacked the usb in, i went to shower since i had to wait for it to be charged so i can look @ the contacts. when i got back, the iphone was blank. all the contacts, apps, and songs were erased and in place, i saw my own songs from my very own ipod. should i keep it? or is there a way to find the owner?

I heard that they can track lost/stolen iPhones. Not sure how you would be able to find the owner, so you might as well keep it and return it if they contact or find you some how.

the owner put it on the "10 wrong codes in a row and everything is deleted" setting only possible way is to go to ur local apple store and try and fix it

hard to say.. cuz the person who lost it may have put in a phone track to find ur location. Also they could bring the cops.. in that case your in trouble cuz they can claim u stole it if there isnt a track ( witch u cant tell) its safe.. the person can still track the iphone with OUT the sim card in the phone.
