what the hell is this bug doing in my room?

there's this half-an-inch-size bug in my room that's hanging onto the ceiling. scratch that, It's on the air vent. I don't know what it is but it keeps making this 'bleep' noise every time I go to sleep, and I mean only when I go to sleep. It's really annoying and I want to get rid of it. the weird thing is, it seems as if I'm the only who can hear it. 'cus when it made its noise I asked my aunt if she heard it and she said she didn't. BUTBUTBUT everyone can see rather than hear it. and I can't kill it, nor can anyone in the house, whenever we throw something at it we miss(and we tried a quillion times). plus, we got a latter and we hit it with my sandal but it doesn't do anything like, it doesn't squish it or anything. then we used a hammer and it didn't die! it was rock-hard. |: and everyone's too afraid to get a tissue and throw it away. what the hell! any clue on how to get rid of it? other than sucking it up and picking it up then throwing it away. too scared to get any closer CRAP, TURNS OUT THE THING IN THE PICTURE WASN'T THE BUG. probably in the air vent, fml. so how do I kill/get rid of the bug without touching it?

Perhaps its because when you hit him body is able to flatten out so it doesnt get hurt

Try alchohol and fire? Like get a windex sprayer thats almost empty or empty and fill it so atleast a centimeter passes the end of the feedtube then spray and light the spray, but have water near by. Or if you have hairspray that wont really catch unless you hold it for too long. Just get a lighter and spray the hairspray, light the spray and keep spraying. Do not hold for more then 20 seconds..
