Ok so me and my friend (kazu) are arguing about db and bm. He says that thorn will make bm's useless. But I think were still gonna be good for SE, and still will be higly wanted for bosses. Also another argument was who will be more more effected by thorn hero or sair I choose sair. Edit: plz leave comment choosing sair or hero.

I think the Hero would benefit more, since Brandish has a lower multiplier than Cannon?

im still kind of confused on what thorns does here is what i have heard, please confirm is you can 1. Thorns is party skill an gives crit 2. Stacks with SE 3. only stacks with SE to classes that have no crit (so archers,arans, and sins are unaffected) that's about all ive heard, anything else important about thorns?

Why would bowmasters be replaced? SE would give an extra boost, as well. And any NLs in the party wouldn't get throns, so they'd still need SE to maximize their DPM.

Cannon w/Thorns: (380+125 x .35) + (380 x .65) = 423.75% x 4 average multiplier on Cannon 423.75/380 = 1.12, or 12% increase to Sair damage. Brandish w/Thorns: (260+125 x .35) + (260 x .65) = 303.75% x 2 average multiplier on Brandish 303.75/260 = 1.17, or 17% increase to Hero damage. So Heroes benefit slightly more (unless I'm wrong, which is possible since I'm not entirely sure when to apply combo orb multiplier), but since Sairs are a lot stronger in the first place, they'll still have much higher DPM.
