KSing Halloween Event

Well this event has proven it most people will KS in this game regardless of what they might say. I helped a warrior for his candies and watched theives, mages, warriors, and bowmen all try to KS from him. It was a small patch where one zombie appears, you all want ot complain about KSing well apperently there are I would say 70% jerks in this game that want ot get the itme so badly they are willing ot step on someone else to do it, wether noob, pro or what not. So if those that are willing ot KS during this event that means you are willing to do it any other time, as for those that think that just because its an MMO that it means that they can do what ever. Your right you can but there is a courtsey that goes with this game, learn about it and maybe someone might be nice enough not to get you back. It makes me espically mad when the KSers use the angery face when they don't get their kill. Thats my rant

yes I've had that a lot today, me and two friends were trying to keep to a little patch and help each other out but the KSers spoiled all the fun x.x; several of them wanted bribes before they would move =3=

the thing that gets me is... people camping the spots waiting for the "candy monsters" become unwilling to kill ANYTHING else on the map. they do this for what, A lame little pumpkin candy bucket.

our gparty was killing other stuff, one of us would go kill while the other two waited for candy monsters, except when we started getting really baddly KSed

i started pretty early in the day, when not many people are on. i got to about 18 candy before i started getting KSed horribly. I started with my own little area and ended up fighting 5 other people for the kill of 2 zombies per cycle. i got to 29 candies before i decided to quit and try again later, like in the middle of the night.

i used my archer to get candies but all i did was getting ksed by mages. and sins and high lvl warriors..T_T, so i decided to go get the candies at night while ther are less ppl, and i think that we should help those beginners to get some candy. since they cant kill anything at their lvl. i gave some of my candies to a lvl 11 mage before i left @@

I got on early today..but its sad how many people kept ch.surfing to ks me in my spot. yes, i did camp for a while but i got tired of nithnig else spawning. theres a specific spot in sleepywood where candy mosnters appear, but i moved from there after having the same set of about 5 people ch. surfing and stopping there, attepting to take my kill, then leaving to go to another ch. afterwards i just moved to next to kerning. turns out that if u atleast kill other things on the map, u may get something more useful than candy. i found a nice lvl 35 archer armor from the green shrooms. it actually pays to fix the spawn rate down there.

Yeah, there's a lot of KSers for the Halloween event. At first I thought, wow cool, we get candy that we can soon exchange for an item. So at first I was just killing a patch of zombies and wraiths until some KSers came and spoiled it. x__x; Oh well, usually later at night or early in the morning there's less people so I guess I could try getting candy at that time. XP

Yeah, I'll second that. Just tried getting candies for a while, but it was futile. There's no honour among thieves, or archers, or warriors, or mages... especially the mages. I'm not saying that all mages are ksers, I'm just saying all the players that ksed me were mages, and one of them even laughed at me AFTER ksing me, grr. Ah well, it's just 1's and 0's anyway, I'm going to go eat some real candy.

Well depending on what server your on the ksing is worse but when you look at it that there is like 10-15 people per channel in each of the spawning areas for the quest its going to happen. Theres no getting around it and theres no use in crying over it. Those who get ks'd ks others. As for not killing other things on the map why would higher lvl chars kill orange mushrooms their not there to train their there to complete a quest. Im on Scania and it was nothing but ks'ing on any channel any spawning area. They need to make the mobs spawn at all of the cities and then there would be more places for the people to go. It's bad to say but when I saw the new quest and what it was about I knew that it would be like that. Its the perfect cleric or I/L mage quest with heal and lightning. I hoped channels and areas for 20 mins and found that in the end it was only time to fight for them or go do something else :P

But after seeing the loads of people all KSing each other, trying to get to the candy monsters, I figured, bah, what a waste of time. That basket isn't even worth the effort, except as a collector's item. And why would I want one more Equip space filled up, anyway? But see, don't blame the KSers. Blame Wizet. They're the ones proclaiming on the website how many thousands of accounts they have signed up for the game. They really should have seen this coming and expanded the hunting grounds. And would a candy hunt on Ossyria have been any trouble? Geez, and I was so happy I caught the last boat before the patch. (I don't know why I'm complaining about that. Like I said, I think it's a waste of time. >_>)
