NOTICE : The builds I messed up on the last 3 so please be a bit patient for me to fix those. What is a Dual Blade? Dual Blade is a brand new class just recently released in KMS. They are an adventurer class (3rd branch off the Thief class) that take the Dagger as their main weapon and as a new twist to Maplestory wield a secondary weapon known as a Blade. (Dagger is held in one hand and the Blade in another). Despite they are an adventurer class they have a unique trait for being the first class that you only have a limited time to create (You�re given 3 months to make one however after that time the option to create one will no longer be available) One thing to be clear on that this will not be like pirates release, you cannot make a Rogue ahead of time then advance it as a Dual Blade. You must select the Dual Blade option from the creation screen and you�ll start off on Maple Island like all other adventurers and continue the same Rogue storyline up till lv 20. Advanced Dual Blade -Skill builds + information 7. Training Locations 8. Questions & Answers 1. Rogue basics AP distribution There are 4 possible AP builds you can make on your path as a Dual Blade. For the unfunded / new players there�s the normal dex players. For very high funded players there�s both dexless and low dex builds. And lastly which should only be done in the circumstance that you have A LOT of funding or if you only want looks and don�t care about damage, STR build. Normal Dex Simple enough, Keep dex twice your level (At lv 20 you should have 40 dex, at lv 30 you should have 60 dex). Important note: You need 40 dex at lv 20 as a minimum to use your first Blade. Pros: You can wear any dagger/blade. You will eventually out damage dexless DBs. Cons: Overall is the second /third weakest build in the end. Can also end up costing more as price to keep upgrading blades and daggers will take a toll later on. Dexless Obviously you add no dex what so ever and keep it capped at 25. This should only be done if you are funded as you should be able to afford good luk equips to do this. Important note: Till GMS gets Maple Blades (Or the non-dex required Cash Blades) making a dexless DB is not possible, but the AP build is added regardless. Pros: Highest possible damage till around 80~90. Can cost less than other builds. Cons: Due to that the first blade needs 40 dex to equip you�ll be stuck using lv 10 Double Stab till lv 35 as your other skills will no |
