My suspension has just ended few mins ago. I recently got my screen deleted, that I uploaded to basilmarket...it got frontpaged and had almost 100 likes in one day. I posted my custom items and this one user started to blame that the "Hollow Mask" custom item was not made by me. It was 100% made by me and the user was basing it on pure supposition. Day after I noticed that my screen had been deleted. Later I found out I had suspension reasoned: [i]Rule #3: Read the rule here Moderator: Stealing pic without credit (Hollow Mask)[/i] Seriously? Even if I was reported me to admins, there was no evidence at all. I couldn't post to basilmarket, though thats nothing compared to fact that I'm being blamed for stealing picture, that I have made myself and being denigrated at the front of basil community. I made that Hollow Mask myself, hell I even made 2 more hollow masks to prove that I really did make it : http://i40.tinypic.com/2e5qnom.jpg. There's no "hollow mask" custom dated before the date in my sleepywood thread I should have never uploaded anything here. Could you please get your facts right and something more than word, before you take rude actions such as suspending me, deleting my screen and denouncing me as a stealer. I have never stealed and never would. I sent you 2 reports that you didn't answer and I'm really offended when you blame me for something like that. I want basilmarket to explain this right now.

You should had done it under "Auction, feedback, user" since for the main part you were trying to appeal a suspension.

[/quote] Nor would they have the power to do anything about it since they weren't the ones who gave out the suspension in the first place, nor can they read reports that have anything to do with Basil other than posts in the forums.

I've had my suspension lifted once, it was a ficitional tale I wrote and I put the votes as "LOL, LMAO, HAHA." to signify the level of 'humor' they got from it. I didn't get an apology for it, just a lifted saying essentially "That's ridiculous but whatever". I was happy I was appealed a 9 day suspension, but the fact I got a feedback of essentially an eye roll, is just unproffesional. If you made a mistake, he clearly did by making the assumption and revoking it, take responsibility for it. It's the attitude that bothers me, then again no forum is better. As a moderator they feel as though their decision is law and will pull so much out of their ass to justify it. Here's a word of advice from a paid supervisor to a "volunteer moderator". Rules are guidelines and they aren't black and white. They should be taken flexible, for gods sake its a website for a game, a 7 day suspension should not be justified by someone censoring a curse word in a discussion.
