| What is so good about an Aran anyway? I was going to make a bowman, but then I started hearing that Arans are really good and level very fast. Is that true? And what kind of funding would an Aran need to be decent? And what skill build should I follow? |

| arans are very good because they hit very high even with mobs. they also have some really cool skills. the best part, u dont have to spend that much money for a descent aran. descent aran IMO is 60-100 mil (50 mil for zhelm) other than that u can 100% ur weapon and 100% ur overall for dex. go to basil guide on arans for skill build |

| arans dont need too much funding, if u do make aran, max out double swing, then make ur progress to polearm booster. Arans have TONS of side skills, like when u hit lvl 54 u get to do a quest for a new skill. Overall, my aran is REALLY cool, they do nice dmg and have LOTS of hp, right now im lvl 79 and have 3917 hp. I'd pick aran over bowman ANY day, only down, is low acc. My acc is at 186...pm me for more info |

| Also because they're pretty strong, Beast with critical. There good with mobs like ^ He said. And also for a decent aran all you need is 50mil + 100%'ed items. VERY fast leveling, esspecialy from 85-100. |

| Sounds good. I think I will make an Aran. I was just wondering what build would be the cheapest and the best in the long run. Since I have a sin, I know that starting dexless, and converting to low dex later is the best thing to do, and the cheapest. Is it the same as Arans? Or would that cost more? |
Your end game weapon should be either the Crimson Arcglaive or the Purple Surfboard. The PSB does not require any dex whereas the Arcglaive only needs 80 dex, which is easily obtainable. Going dexless is simple. |

But, is there a huge gap in damage between reg. dex, and dexless just like there is with sins? |
I wouldn't say huge, but with the understanding that 1 attack is equal to 5 strength and the fact that this ration only increase as you level, I'm assuming that the gap in damage will be less noticeable during lower levels compared to higher levels. |
